Over the past month you have been learning about the "party" system in the U.S. You understand the basic philosophies of the Republican Party and the Democratic Party. You have been reading about the conventions and platforms of both parties, and you have been following the issues.
This week during class, you will be discussing those issues which are important to you in your groups.
Groups 1(R) & 2(D) will form "party" statements about the issues.
Groups 3(r) & 4(d) (the undecideds) will form questions or statements of doubt concerning your important issues. Remember you favor (like) one party but have some doubts and are making questions for the other party.
You will post comments according to your group numbers during computer time on the next day.
When you click here, you will be linked to a site where you can see if you agree more with Bush/Republican or Kerry/Democrat.
There are many issues in a list on the left. Choose IMMIGRATION then click. Read each candidates position and click in the small circle under the candidate you prefer.
Print article.
When you are finished, choose another issue.
